Wildlife Encounters as a Tool
for Personal Reflection and Growth
Self-reflection is the act of thinking about your own behavior and beliefs. When we engage in this deliberate kind of thinking, we can enhance awareness of our mental and emotional states as well as awareness about our actions. Developing this awareness is the basis for personal growth.
This course is all about how to use the natural world around us to assist with relaxation and presence, and as a prompt for greater self reflection. Anyone who loves observing or interacting with animals and being out in nature can learn to use these experiences for greater self reflection.

Horses are not the only animals that can support and guide us on our quest for personal growth. In fact, a wide variety of birds, insects, reptiles and other small critters (not to mention Bartholomew the Pig!) regularly participate in workshops and sessions at the Unbridled farm. Kim also enjoys reflecting daily on the wildlife encounters that occur for her personally, pretty much whenever she spends time outside. These encounters have had such a profound impact in her life that Kim was motivated to create a course designed to help YOU put the power of wildlife reflections and symbolism to work in your own life!
This is a self-paced course with engaging lesson content and interactive discussion strings. The entire course can be completed in approx. 10 hours. Some of the topics covered include:
